Painted Shao Hei

Alrighty, my girlfriend finished painting her Sculpture. Here it is.

Shao Hei

My girlfriend was also in the sculpting class. This is the cartoon version of her dog back home.

Shih-Tzu Bizzare Sculpture

Well way back in grade 5 (about 15 years ago) I drew a cartoon character for a french class project. Le Shih-Tzu Bizarre. The story was about a small shih-tzu that was taken over by an alien symbiote of sorts, and mutated into a human eating monster. A scientist learns of a way to defeat the creature and liquifies it.
Well recently I took a sculpting class at Max the Mutt and after re-designing the creature, have come up with this. enjoy!

here, you can see alot the skin texture as well as the strange growths on it's body

And here it is, the final product. I'll update with a painted version eventually, but for now, it will remain unpainted.

Wicked Storm in Toronto

The other day there was a strange storm in Toronto. on the water front, the fog rolled in so thick that everythign disapeared. shortly after it cleared, a massive, but short lived, thunderstorm rolled in. I took somethign like 60 pictures. Of them, I managed one perfect image:


I ran the pic through photoshop really quick to get the bolt a little clearer. It's really wierd. you can see a straight line right at the base. I'm assuming thats the pole on the building it's hitting. But it's hard to say:

On our second trip to Wonderland we ran into a friend from my college, THE Tooninator. He does caricatures there and he was awesome enough to do one for us while we were there. And here it is.

Trip to Wonderland

Me and my girlfriend went Canada's Wonderland over the weekend. We both weren't feeling well and only ended up on like two rides (lucky we havea season pass). Also alot of the rides including the new Behemoth were shut down during the day for some reason so most of the lineups were in the 2-3 hour mark. Below is a picture of us at the park.


Also, I played one game of ring toss. 40 rings. at the tenth ring I won this, Crush Jr. Also won a mini guitar.

ZBrush head

Alrighty, so after doing a few tutorials using a base head provided, I came up with this. I did alot of altering in the shape of the head, detailed the ears, added the hair, and did the facial expression. The tutorials end product looks nothing like this one, so basically, if you have a generic head that you like, keep it and bring it to zbrush to turn it into anything you want.

ZBrush Painting 1

Alrighty, this isnt exactly the hardest thing to make in ZBrush but I like how it turned out. Zbrush is alot of fun and I'll post more as I learn how to handle it.

Spiderweb, custom Munny

This is my Custom Munny, Spiderweb. He's based off a version of spiderman i thought up during college, where a symbiote takes hold of the person but it's not evil, like Venom or Carnage. Also, the bottom pic includes a photo of one of the munny's my girlfriend made, "Purple Butterfly".
